Introducing a new line, intended for the professional that has time for making music and little for nursing an instrument.
This is not intended for the “Wine Taster”. Every aspect has been considered to produce a flawless guitar that can endure the “slings and arrows” that being part of a professional’s “kit” can introduce.
The body, Alder, is finished in a flawless poly, but not the thick coating the phrase has come to represent, this modern finish is uniquely thin, and actually appears more like Nitro than anything else, yet is as durable as Polys are known for.
The necks are finished in Nitro however to preserve the vintage sensation as you’re rocking the house. The back is hand burnished to a satin finish, facilitating the ergonomic feel so many desire.
Every neck is fully leveled, crowned and polished. This is a feature rarely seen on any but custom guitars. And every body receives full anti-static treatment with full copper shielding.
Beyond those attributes, these guitars have all the attention to detail a Ron Kirn Guitar is known for.

Barnbusters
About 20 years ago a well-known guitarist had me build him a few guitars from Pine, the subsequent posting of several songs played on those guitars lit the fire that produced the BarnBusters that I have been making ever since…
This is the latest offering, and probably the last for the remainder of this year…
Each is hand made by me, Hand wired using the traditional genuine CTS pots, CRL switch, and vintage cloth covered wiring. All of which is nice to see but means little regarding the sound.
What does make a difference is every guitar I produce receives a full fret leveling, crowning and polish… the difference in performance is much like the difference between Driving a Mini Van and a Porsche Carrera.
