The Ron Kirn Basic T

What goes into a Ron Kirn "Basic" Guitar? Have a look at this basic's stats, and I'll let you decide just how "basic" she is. 

Body: Select Ash, reminiscent of the guitars created by Leo in the early 50's. (A one piece solid body can be used when available, for $250 extra.)

Color: Rich Amber Butterscotch Transparent Nitrocellulose Lacquer NOS finish. 

Neck: Maple, Flame pattern, Rosewood Fingerboard, 7 ¼” Radius, 1 5/8 at the nut, Soft “V” profile. .900 inch at the nut and 1.00 inch at the 12 fret. Genuine Nitrocellulose finish with hand lapped satin back. Amber tint. The Frets have been completely leveled, crowned, polished and setup.

Nut: Genuine Bone Precision cut for 10’s and Polished

Pickups: Ron Kirn #1 True Vintage hand scatter wound 

Electronics: Vintage T-type wiring. 

Controls: Vintage 3 way Switch, I Volume and 1 tone, or 4 way at no additional charge. 

Bridge: Gotoh 6 Saddle Bridge 

Machine Heads: Vintage Style 

Hardware: Chrome. 

Solid Machined Jack Plate with Original Switchcraft Jack 

Pickguard: Genuine hand lacquered and polished Bakelite, as used by Leo Fender on the earliest Broadcasters 

Neckplate, and String Ferrules all recessed for flush surface.
